Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power has been a part of the Crawfordsville Community since 1890 and through the years that tradition has continued to grow. CEL&P is made up of 66 employees of which 21 handle the running and maintaining to the Coal Powered Power Plant. People that work for CEL&P are your friends, neighbors & family and we are just a quick call or trip away. CEL&P has prided themselves on reliability, quality service and low rates to our customers. CEL&P has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the community and continues to carry on this tradition. Here are just a few of the activities CEL&P contributes to or fully funds: 10,000 for the CEL&P Community Fund, Leadership Academy Sponsorship, Strawberry Festival, Newspapers in Education, & New Street Lights adorning downtown to name a few. Besides CEL&P being involved, the employees are also highly active on countless boards, Church leadership roles, coaching sports and side businesses in the community.

Now with the addition of Accelplus a division of CEL&P we can also provide IP Digital Video and High-Speed Internet. Our FTTH project moves Crawfordsville into the forefront in the state and nation in providing services and preparing the community for broadband capabilities needed for the future. Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power and Accelplus are serving the customer needs of Crawfordsville with high quality service and reliability.
“We are fortunate to have a progressive power company in our town that has invested in high speed internet infrastructure for Crawfordsville.” Bill Henderson, MCED
