As the first continuous thin-slab cast flat-rolled steel making facility in the world, our Crawfordsville, Indiana mill has an annual capacity of 2,200,000 tons of Hot-rolled, Cold-rolled and Galvanized products. We serve a broad range of Customers including service centers/processors, pipe and tube, construction, agricultural, electrical and others. In addition to pioneering thin-slab casting, Nucor has developed next-generation technology called “thin-strip casting”- which is trademarked under the name Castrip®, at our Crawfordsville facility.
